If anyone has experience fixing small engines please respond. My pressure washer will not start. I gave it a tune up 4 weeks ago and started no problem. It’s an Excell model# VR2522, 5.5 horse with 2,500 psi. It’s usually very reliable but for reasons unknown it simply will not start. I could use some advice, thanks very much if anyone can help.

Long story short there’s a long burnout mark someone left in my parking lot. It looks bad on us when clients come by and see it. What’s the best way to remove all or even a little bit of the tire tracks? I heard using a power-washer works great. Any other suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

I bought a pressure washer from Sears last season on clearance (it was brand new still in the box but an older model). I took it out today to prep my garage for paint. I used it for 20 minutes, stopped for a second to move some things, started it up again without any problems. The oil was in the engine, the water hookups were fine, I purged the pressure each time starting it, etc. After about another 20 minutes it shut down. I only filled the tank about 1/3 full, because that’s all the gas I had in my can (this year’s gas with fuel stabilizer in it, so no problems there). I went out to the gas station, got new gas, mixed my fuel stabilizer, poured it in. It won’t start. I pulled and pulled. Nothing else had changed. Any ideas why this might happen? It’s in warranty, but defects only and I don’t want to have it sent out only for them to tell me it’s a wear and tear issue straight out of the box and I have to pay for something.
Air filter, spark plug, oil, gas is all checked. I even vented the gasoline cap a bit just in case it was sealed too tightly and there was no air displacement.

How exactly does one put gas directly into the carburetor?

any ideas what the problem might be? I have cleaned the carburetor and fuel lines. fuel is getting into to float bowl. I have also replaced the spark plug. once in a while when I am trying to start it, it will backfire. this pressure washer appears not to have been used much. the previous owner (original) owner said it only has about 3 hours on it.. all comments are much appreciated.

The rear break was locked up but i had to get the car out of the garage so I powered through and got out to the street. I left behind a skid mark from inside of my garage all the way to the street (and in the street to). Now I need to get rid of the mark (real trashy-looking on my new driveway). heard of a few methods: degreaser, bleach, Diesel, lava soap, pressure washer, etc. but which on is the best, and how do I use it/them to remove the mark w/ marking up the driveway more or worse ruining it?
