Starting « How To Pressure Wash

If anyone has experience fixing small engines please respond. My pressure washer will not start. I gave it a tune up 4 weeks ago and started no problem. It’s an Excell model# VR2522, 5.5 horse with 2,500 psi. It’s usually very reliable but for reasons unknown it simply will not start. I could use some advice, thanks very much if anyone can help.

I bought a pressure washer from Sears last season on clearance (it was brand new still in the box but an older model). I took it out today to prep my garage for paint. I used it for 20 minutes, stopped for a second to move some things, started it up again without any problems. The oil was in the engine, the water hookups were fine, I purged the pressure each time starting it, etc. After about another 20 minutes it shut down. I only filled the tank about 1/3 full, because that’s all the gas I had in my can (this year’s gas with fuel stabilizer in it, so no problems there). I went out to the gas station, got new gas, mixed my fuel stabilizer, poured it in. It won’t start. I pulled and pulled. Nothing else had changed. Any ideas why this might happen? It’s in warranty, but defects only and I don’t want to have it sent out only for them to tell me it’s a wear and tear issue straight out of the box and I have to pay for something.
Air filter, spark plug, oil, gas is all checked. I even vented the gasoline cap a bit just in case it was sealed too tightly and there was no air displacement.

How exactly does one put gas directly into the carburetor?

any ideas what the problem might be? I have cleaned the carburetor and fuel lines. fuel is getting into to float bowl. I have also replaced the spark plug. once in a while when I am trying to start it, it will backfire. this pressure washer appears not to have been used much. the previous owner (original) owner said it only has about 3 hours on it.. all comments are much appreciated.

I just bought a used Sears Craftsman 6.5 pressure washer and after 45 minutes of use it is losing power and acting like is wants to turn off. If I stop using the wand during this it stays on but when I continue it does the same thing?

I have a Chore Master 2400. It was started with the water on and ran for a while before I pulled the trigger on the sprayer. I’m sure the water pump must be dry, and overheated. Is there something I can remove and put water in, wait for it to cool off? Any ideas would be helpful.
Unloader valve? Do I need to take something apart to get water through there again? I am not getting anything through the spray tip but a trickle of water (really a few drips). Do I just keep letting it cool down?

I’ve hooked up the water supply, added oil, added gas, hooked up high pressure hose to pump and gun, there’s a choke(rabbit or turtle) a lever beneath that is a grey ? no idea what it’s for…then a lever beneath that that has an arrow pointing right and then the word start(so I push it to the right) and there’s a totally different switch for on/off…yes it’s switched on. I’ve never started this thing once and it’s brand new…….I pull, and pull…..nothing. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have tried grounding it with one foot. I have tried to pull the cord using both hands. I am no weakling but, unfortunately, I give up! Any suggestions? It is supposed to be an "easy start" model. Thanks very much!

It runs fine, but whenever you turn the pressure on to wash, it dies. WTF is wrong with it?
Where’s that and how do I un-stick it!?
Yeah, I thought about that but it’s a Sears brand washer. Wal Mart doesn’t sell them.
