I bought a pressure washer from Sears last season on clearance (it was brand new still in the box but an older model). I took it out today to prep my garage for paint. I used it for 20 minutes, stopped for a second to move some things, started it up again without any problems. The oil was in the engine, the water hookups were fine, I purged the pressure each time starting it, etc. After about another 20 minutes it shut down. I only filled the tank about 1/3 full, because that’s all the gas I had in my can (this year’s gas with fuel stabilizer in it, so no problems there). I went out to the gas station, got new gas, mixed my fuel stabilizer, poured it in. It won’t start. I pulled and pulled. Nothing else had changed. Any ideas why this might happen? It’s in warranty, but defects only and I don’t want to have it sent out only for them to tell me it’s a wear and tear issue straight out of the box and I have to pay for something. Air filter, spark plug, oil, gas is all checked. I even vented the gasoline cap a bit just in case it was sealed too tightly and there was no air displacement. How exactly does one put gas directly into the carburetor?
